BINGO BANGO BONGO RULES

1. Drive closest to Green = 1 point

2. First on Green = 1 point = USGA rules state "the location of the ball on the course, i.e., the fringe, a bunker or the putting green, does not have a bearing on determining the order of play? The order of play is determined solely by the distance from the hole of each ball."

DESPITE that, Jim's rule is that the order of play affecting the point for 1st on green is based on DISTANCE from the green NOT DISTANCE from the HOLE. A check with the USGA rules committee president confirmed that golfing rules published on Rod's Golf Page on Jim's WEB site override any and all published USGA rules. Jim was requested to give the USGA rules committee advance notice of any more USGA rules overrides to be published on Rod's Golf Page so the USGA rules committee could properly notify its members.

3. Closest to Hole when Getting on Green = 1 point

4. First in Cup = 1 point

5. Low Score = 1 point

6. Ties Carry Over to Next Hole

7. More than one on Green from Tee = Closest to Pin Gets Drive Point & 1st On Green Point

I think they require a fishing license to play golf at this course. Rod would be splashing so much he would have to wear his swimming trunks!! But I am sure you could play this course in even par - even if Rod kept your score for you!

Sir,

Did you note the prices at that course? The course is obviously superior to Lakewood. We LCDRs having been watching the Commander real close at LePavillion to make sure he wasn't making a profit there. Do you think we ought start getting a receipt at Lakewood?

Hummmmmm???
